The 2022 Baoding Marathon starts on Oct 30

According to a press conference held by Baoding Municipal government Information Office today, the 2022 Baoding Marathon is scheduled to be held on October 30, with four events including full marathon, half marathon, health run and family run, and more than 15,000 participants are expected to participate. This is not only the first city horse race in Baoding, but also the first water marathon around the city in China. This COMPETITION IS sponsored by Baoding Municipal GOVERNMENT, organized by Baoding Municipal Sports Bureau, CO-organized by Lianchi District Government, Jingxiu District Government, High-tech Zone Management Committee and Baoding Wenfa Group.

According to the introduction, the 2022 Baoding Marathon course is set along the Baoding ring city water system, with clear water, smooth river and beautiful scenery, which is an "ecological river" with green lung and blue kidney.

Among them, the full marathon route starts at the East Lake Park Marathon Base Camp of Qilyi Road, passes through the East Third Ring Road, Fuxing East Road, North Di Road, West Di Road, South Di Road and East Third Ring Road, and returns to the East Lake Park Marathon Base Camp via Qilyi Road, covering a distance of 42.195 kilometers. The half Marathon route starts from the Marathon base camp in East Lake Park of Qilu Road, passes through the East Third Ring Road, Fuxing East Road, Beidi Road and Xidi Road, and ends at Yimu Quan Sports Park. The length of the route is 21.0975 kilometers. The health Run and family run will start from the marathon camp in East Lake Park, Qilu Road, pass through the East Third Ring Road, Fuxing East Road, Wenbo Street and Huanhu Road, and finish at the Rainbow Bridge, Huanhu Road. The route length is 5 kilometers.

The theme of this event is "Run, save the horse". It is not only an incentive for the runners, but also a tribute to the builders of every modern city of quality life.

The main visual design of the competition, with the Gate of Jinggi, Juli Bridge, Future Stone, Huambo Square and other landmark buildings as the main design elements, highlighting the new appearance level of Baoding city construction. The design idea of the event logo originates from the word "Bao" of Baoding, which is transformed into the shape of a champion line through deformation design, showing the fighting spirit of Baoding Marathon. The overall logo color is the color of the Olympic 5 rings, which is also the inheritance of the Olympic spirit and the freehand style of "the City of Olympic champions".

The mascots are "Bao Bao" and "Hebao". Male Bao, nicknamed "Bao Bao", "bao" from "Baoding" "Bao", has the meaning of the city representative. Its overall shape evolved from a golden championship trophy, symbolizing the glorious image of Baoding as "the city of Olympic champions". Female treasure, nicknamed "He Bao", "lotus" from the national key cultural relic protection unit Gulian flower pool, lotus leaf elements symbolize vigorous vitality.
